Scottish Rite Clubs
| The Valley of Charlotte currently has one Scottish Rite Club, the "Albert Pike Club" which is located in the sand-hills area of North Carolina (Rockingham, Southern Pines, Aberdeen) and we are working to constitute more. If you need more information on how to get one started, please contact the your Blue Lodge Ambassador or the Valley Secretary. | |

SCOTTISH
RITE CLUB
ORGANIZATION THE
NAMES: Clubs
can be named for Counties, Cities, or areas. NUMBER OF CLUBS: If
there are a sufficient number of members within a County, more than
one Club can be organized. Any
Scottish Rite member may join the Club of his choice. Counties
with small membership may want to combine and organize one Club. FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE: To
help organize the various Clubs, we may start each Club
off with a cash donation of $??? per member within the Club area. The
minimum donation to any Club organized will be $???. For
any member of a Club who signs the top line of a petition on which the candidate
is initiated we will give the Club $???. We can provide suitable dues or membership cards that can be issued by the Club Secretary. We
can also assist with newsletters. OFFICERS
OF CLUBS: It
is suggested that each Club have a President and a Secretary. (In
some Valleys, Vice Presidents, representing various areas in the Club's territory
have been found very helpful.) MEETINGS: We
would like to have the Clubs meet at least four times each year. It
is suggested that meetings held prior to the Reunions include prospective members. CLUB
DUES: It
is suggested that a small amount be collected from each Club member for
annual dues, not to exceed $???. By doing this each
Club will be able to have some dinner meetings, with the Club picking up all or part of the tab. AT
THE TIME OF ORGANIZATION WE WILL FURNISH EACH SECRETARY WITH A COMPLETE LIST
OF CURRENT MEMBERS WITHIN HIS TERRITORY. |
